Darren Jones CA
Director – Taxation & Business Advisory

B.Com, Grad Dip (CAANZ), MIPA, AFA, NTAAF, Chartered Accountant
Darren is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and small businesses across Queensland. He specialises in strategic tax planning, business structuring, and guiding clients through all stages of the business lifecycle — from start-up to succession.
Darren worked as a business analyst in the senior team responsible for rolling out the first 20 BCF stores. After the successful start up of the stores, he returned to public practice because he missed the satisfaction of helping families grow their businesses.
Clients value Darren’s down-to-earth style, his attention to detail, and his ability to explain complex financial matters in a way that makes sense. Whether it’s solving a tax issue or unlocking business growth, Darren brings clarity, insight, and genuine care to every client relationship.
When he’s not in the office, Darren enjoys coaching junior basketball; watching his boys on the basketball court; and supporting the Brisbane Bullets.

Kevin Howard is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in taxation advisory, self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), and regulatory compliance. With a career spanning over 25 years, Kevin has built a reputation for his technical expertise, thorough approach, and commitment to delivering clear, reliable advice.
Kevin specialises in assisting clients with complex tax matters, strategic planning, and SMSF management. He works closely with individuals and small business owners to develop tax-efficient strategies that align with their long-term goals, while ensuring compliance with ever-changing legislation.
His calm, methodical nature and strong attention to detail make him a trusted advisor for clients who value both precision and professionalism.
Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys raising two strong-willed daughters, cooking for family and friends, and following the rugby.
